In 2015, the United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda. At the heart of this agenda are 17 goals for a better world. All goals have the vision of ending poverty, fighting inequality and stopping climate change. The weakest and most vulnerable should be at the center of these goals. The goals of the 2030 Agenda can only be achieved through intensive cooperation within the framework of a new global partnership. Project Burma e.V. is proud to play a small part in shaping a better future for the poorest in Myanmar 1 No poverty Through targeted sponsorships and support in training we are trying to break the cycle of poverty 2 No hunger Through the support of our sponsored families as well as targeted food support in crisis situations, we contribute to ensuring that the people in our projects do not have to go hungry. 3 Health and well-being Disease prevention and care for all people living in our projects as well as the construction of health wards and hospitals help to ensure health and well-being support financially. 4 High-quality education Sponsorship support makes it possible for children to receive good school and secondary education and not end up on a daily wage after just a few years of school. 5 Gender equality The inclusion of both genders is important to us in our projects. The women's committee is also working on building the clinic in Magyizin to ensure that the needs of our patients are taken into account and that maternal mortality is reduced. 6 Clean water and sanitary facilities By building toilets and drinking water fountains, we make a significant contribution to maintaining health and health education on site.
