The Association for Peace Education Tübingen e.V. has established itself nationwide as a peace education service center since its founding in 1976. Didactically prepared publications and audiovisual media are created on a variety of topics, literature and media overviews are developed and seminars are held. The offers are used by multipliers from all areas of education and by the interested public. Recognized teacher training institutes, youth welfare offices or adult education centers are important cooperation partners. The association has an office in Tübingen and works in conjunction with experienced experts from science and research, education and media work as well as graphic implementation and computer applications. The focus of the work of the Association for Peace Education is the critical examination of interpersonal, social and international conflicts in order to make possibilities for civil conflict resolution visible. The use of different methods of political education and the inclusion of new media take up a lot of space.
