metabolism is a joint project between teachers from Baden-Württemberg and West Africa. As part of global civil society, they pursue the goals of the Dakar World Conference “Education for All”. The teachers from the SYNTER and GEW unions agree that private help cannot replace state responsibility. Both unions do not limit their perspective to schools, but rather advocate for a stimulating environment for children and young people.

School partnership with the Ceylon-German Technical Training Institute. The aim is to further educate teachers in the areas of automotive technology and metal technology through an annual event in the partner country or in Germany.

At the beginning of the 2001/2002 school year, the One World AG was founded at the Hölderlin-Gymnasium Lauffen. In this, students deal with the Indian indigenous Adivasis, with the aim of entering into a lively exchange with them and building a one-world partnership. Eine-Welt-AG runs a school world shop and markets fairly traded Adivasi products.
