Background information on the country's development policy
The funding program works! is integrated into the development policy of the state of Baden-Württemberg and is coordinated by the State Ministry
On February 5, 2013, the state government of Baden-Württemberg approved the new development policy guidelines for Baden-Württemberg in the cabinet. This was preceded by the “World:Citizens Asked!” initiative, a nationally unique citizen participation in which over 1.500 committed citizens throughout the country contributed through workshops and 120 organizations and associations through statements.
The funding is intended to initiate and enable implementation of the goals and results of the development policy dialogue.
