With over 80 exhibitors and an attractive supporting program, the international fair trade fair offers an opportunity to visit Stuttgart
Stuttgart, April 21, 2022.
After a two-year break, Fair Trade is finally opening its doors again in Stuttgart today. Until April 24, 2022, you can try fairly traded coffee from Burundi, learn about sustainable fashion by upcycling old jeans, listen to a reading by Tete Loeper and help shape the country's development policy guidelines. Tickets and the attractive supporting program are available online.
At Fair Handel, over 80 exhibitors will show trends and innovations relating to fair trade and conscious consumption from the areas of development cooperation and global partnerships, sustainable finance and tourism as well as future fashion and future fashion made in Africa. There are numerous activities at the stands that invite you to take part or try them out. In the special area of Future Fashion you can give worn fashion a new shine in the upcycling workshop, get to know fashion designers in the Future Fashion Made In Africa Corner or have a cup of fairly traded partnership coffee at the Burundi Competence Center stand at the Burundi-Baden-Württemberg quiz enjoy. The Mindchangers offer opportunities for young people to participate in rethinking migration and climate change. An attractive cultural supporting program with readings, talks and more invites you to take part, watch and listen.
Whether it's the conscious consumption of products such as fair trade coffee and sustainable fashion or the exchange with people from all over the world: “Everyone can do something every day to make our world a little more fair. “Fair Trade shows small solutions for big changes in the spirit of global justice,” says Philipp Keil, Managing Director of the Baden-Württemberg Development Cooperation Foundation (SEZ). The international trade and consumer trade fair Fair Trade with a focus on fair trade and globally responsible action is a sales platform and at the same time an information and contact exchange for the industry, for the media, for decision-makers and consumers. The SEZ organizes Fair Trade as a professional and intellectual sponsor together with Messe Stuttgart as part of the Stuttgart spring fairs.
