The SEZ supports non-profit organizations with three funding lines, each with different objectives.
Through consulting and training for the applicant organizations, closer networking between the groups, and continuing education opportunities, the SEZ aims to improve and increase the effectiveness of its projects. With bwirkt!, the SEZ awards funding provided by the state of Baden-Württemberg following a resolution of the Baden-Württemberg State Parliament.

This is demonstrated not only by respectful interaction with one another, taking gender equality into account, but also by trust, openness, honesty, and transparency. Furthermore, the sustainable partnership should be lively, active, and stimulating, thus being open to new collaborators, new ideas, and new developments.
