We show what the future of fashion looks like by naming the social and ecological injustices along the textile value chain and offering a platform for alternatives and networking in order to make fashion future-proof together.
Future Fashion was initiated as a joint project by the SEZ. Since then, we have worked with a large number of partners, developed formats and established Future Fashion as a platform. With Future Fashion Made in Africa we have broadened the perspective of who makes sustainable fashion. Future Fashion Experts, Labels and designers from the Future Fashion Network provide answers to questions about sustainable fashion consumption.
We provide background information so that everyone can easily choose sustainable fashion.
Sustainable clothing begins with the extraction of raw materials, continues with production technology and conditions, the conscious purchasing decision and ends with their (re)use. Future Fashion takes responsibility for sustainable textile consumption and thereby makes a contribution to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
