FUNDING ABROAD THROUGH SEZ FUNDS

The SEZ promotes partnership projects in the areas of income generation, education and training, basic infrastructure, nutrition, health, environmental protection and environmental education as well as projects for greater gender equality.

Applicant organizations must be non-profit organizations based in Baden-Württemberg that maintain direct partnership relationships with a local association or initiative in a country in the so-called global south.

For example, ongoing costs that necessarily arise even after a project has been completed (electricity, rent, long-term necessary salaries, for example for teachers) or travel costs and salaries of the Baden-Württemberg applicant or German experts cannot be funded.

The SEZ relies on donations for this form of project funding.
