The SEZ supports partnership projects in the areas of income generation, education and training, basic infrastructure, nutrition, health, environmental protection and environmental education as well as projects for greater gender equality.
Applicant organizations must be non-profit organizations based in Baden-Württemberg that maintain direct partnership relationships with a local association or initiative in a country in the so-called global south.
For example, ongoing costs that are necessarily incurred even after the completion of a project (electricity, rent, permanently necessary salaries, e.g. for teachers) or travel expenses and salaries of the Baden-Württemberg applicant or German experts cannot be funded.
The SEZ relies on donations for this form of project funding.
Different regulations apply to funding from SEZ funds than to the funding lines! We would be happy to advise you by telephone or in a personal conversation before submitting your application.
