The dialogue process was started in 2012 by the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg and culminated in 2013 Decision on the development policy guidelines for the country. At the dialogue “World:Citizens Asked!” Citizens of Baden-Württemberg can submit their own ideas and suggestions for action on the topic of development policy. At the annual Development policy state conference These will be discussed and the guidelines updated. The Council for Development Cooperation (REZ) advises the state government on the implementation of development policy locally. Since January 2020, the SEZ has been coordinating the REZ office and organizing the state conference together with it.
