The last regional development policy conference took place in Heidelberg on July 1, 2025. The results will be published here shortly. Plan your trip to southern Baden-Württemberg now: The next regional development policy conference is expected to take place in Freiburg in summer/autumn 2026.
The Regional Development Policy Conference takes place in a different municipality or city each year. At the conference, citizens can help shape Baden-Württemberg's development policy. Here, everyone can engage with cities, municipalities, the state government, politicians, and administrators on the topic of development policy, focusing on the areas of global solidarity and global responsibility.
Anyone can participate in the Regional Development Policy Conference – no special prior knowledge is necessary. The Regional Development Policy Conference is part of the "World:Citizens Asked!" dialogue and is organized by regional promoters and their sponsoring associations in cooperation with an annually changing city/municipality, the Baden-Württemberg Development Policy Association (DEAB), the Council for Development Cooperation (REZ), the Baden-Württemberg Development Cooperation Foundation (SEZ), and the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg.
